Tucked into the hillside and overlooking the waterhole, the luxury chalets have been designed in such a way that they feel both spacious and intimate at the same time. Each luxury chalets are adorned with a queen size bed, day bed, open plan lounge with fireplace, shower with sunken bath, and a private balcony.

With added luxuries, the Tshukudu Suites are just a step up from their sister Luxury Chalets. Read a book from the comfort of your king size bed or extra spacious lounge before stepping out onto the deck for a dip in your private plunge pool. Sip on a glass of wine from your bath with a view or take an outside shower as you watch the sun sink slowly below the horizon.

Tshukudu’s Dining Room is set just off the main deck area and is a cozy nook for guests to dine inside on cool or rainy days. Renowned for our exceptional African cuisine, meticulously prepared by our chef, guests can expect an incredible degustation experience starting at breakfast and ending the day with a full five-course dinner.

Bush Dinner

One of the most charming dining experiences Tshukudu has on offer is a short trip into the African bush where guests can immerse themselves in nature while dining under the stars. With the fireplace as your centerpiece, expect to be served a delicious traditional South African braai (barbeque) buffet.

Game Viewing

In the cool of the day, as the sun rises or sets, guests can enjoy two daily game drive experiences into the African bush. Soak up the immense display of wildlife while absorbing the plethora of knowledge shared by our experienced game rangers.

Just a short walk from the main deck, down the cobbled pathways of the lodge, will bring you to the swimming Rock Plunge pool, a place of refuge from the hot African sun. Or enjoy time on the Main Deck that offers the best views and is a communal gathering point to share a meal, a sundowner or take up a pair of binoculars and watch the game roam freely beyond.
