Ishasha Wilderness Camp

Queen Elizabeth National Park spans 1,978 square km in the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley. Home to elephants, lions, hippos, leopards, buffalo, and Uganda kob, it offers a variety of wildlife. The park’s birdlife is typical of riverine and savannah habitats. The Ishasha Sector is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, often spotted near the camp, located just off the Northern circuit game viewing track. The lions are also found around the large fig trees on the Southern circuit, providing alternative game viewing routes.

Sundowners can be arranged at a scenic viewpoint, either along the ridge or beside the Ntungwe River, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning vistas and serene atmosphere of this beautiful part of the park.
