Continue to explore the “Mother City” – the inner City, it’s heritage and surroundings…

Company Gardens - The park and heritage site were originally established in the early 1650s by the European Settlers arriving in the area. The gardens provided fresh fruit and vegetables to the ships seeking replenishment when rounding the Cape on their journey to the East.

After your stroll through the serene Company Gardens, as you make your way to the Wale Street where the iconic ''Arch'' monument stands. The monument was created to commemorate the life and work of Desmond Tutu - lovingly referred to by South Africans as ''The Arch'' - as well as a tribute to the values of the South African Constitution. The Arch was installed beside the historic St. George's Cathedral which is also known as the ''People's Cathedral'' for its role in the resistance against the Apartheid Regime.

Visit the picturesque Bo-Kaap a historic area that became home to many Muslims and freed slaves after the abolition of slavery. Discover the unique culture, lifestyle, and personality during a walk through the area. Continue to Zonnebloem, originally District Six, and visit the living museum, that incorporates memories of District Six and the forced removals.

Tour ends back at the hotel at about 1PM

Day 3

Your adventure starts with your scenic drive along Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay and Hout Bay, a quaint seaside village with magnificent mountain views and Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the world's most spectacular coastal drives.

Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs towering more than 200 metres above the sea and cutting deep into the ocean, provide a spectacular background for the Cape Points rich biodiversity. The natural vegetation of the areas – fynbos – comprises the smallest but richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms. Watch the dramatic clash of the seas from the viewpoint which can be accessed by a foot or the Flying Dutchman Funicular.

Historic Simons Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders penguin colony is home to a growing colony of the protected African penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view penguins in their natural habitat.

Morning and afternoon/evening game viewing activities as per the lodge.

Close, intimate and rewarding encounters. The respectful interaction with nature means that we can get closer to animals and fully appreciate the magnitude of their beauty. The height of a giraffe lumbering past the game vehicle, the whump of an elephant fanning its ears, or the earthy scent of a hyena den are experiences one never forgets.

Many of the guides and trackers have grown up in the area and have an instinctive understanding of nature. We combine this passion with extensive training and planning to deliver exceptional safari experiences that place your safety first and leave you feeling richer in knowledge and humbled by nature.

Day 6

Morning and afternoon/evening game viewing activities as per the lodge.
