Morning exploring the "Mother City."

Arrive at Table Mountain National Park and enjoy your visit of this iconic landmark - a symbol of Cape Town (weather permitting). Declared as one of the seven wonders of the world, Table Mountain offers panoramic views over the Mother City and the Atlantic Seaboard with Robben Island lying sleepily in Table Bay Harbour.

Continue to explore the “Mother City” – the inner City, it’s heritage and surroundings…

Company Gardens - The park and heritage site were originally established in the early 1650s by the European Settlers arriving in the area. The gardens provided fresh fruit and vegetables to the ships seeking replenishment when rounding the Cape on their journey to the East.

After your stroll through the serene Company Gardens, as you make your way to the Wale Street where the iconic ''Arch'' monument stands. The monument was created to commemorate the life and work of Desmond Tutu - lovingly referred to by South Africans as ''The Arch'' - as well as a tribute to the values of the South African Constitution. The Arch was installed beside the historic St. George's Cathedral which is also known as the ''People's Cathedral'' for its role in the resistance against the Apartheid Regime.

Visit the picturesque Bo-Kaap a historic area that became home to many Muslims and freed slaves after the abolition of slavery. Discover the unique culture, lifestyle, and personality during a walk through the area. Continue to Zonnebloem, originally District Six, and visit the living museum, that incorporates memories of District Six and the forced removals.

Tour ends back at the hotel at about 1PM

Afternoon at leisure

We have a "surprise" arranged for you this evening!

Day 3

Enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula with its natural treasures and spectacular scenery.

Your adventure starts with your scenic drive along Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay and Hout Bay, a quaint seaside village with magnificent mountain views and Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the world's most spectacular coastal drives.

Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs towering more than 200 metres above the sea and cutting deep into the ocean, provide a spectacular background for the Cape Points rich biodiversity. The natural vegetation of the areas – fynbos – comprises the smallest but richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms. Watch the dramatic clash of the seas from the viewpoint which can be accessed by a foot or the Flying Dutchman Funicular.

Historic Simons Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders penguin colony is home to a growing colony of the protected African penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view penguins in their natural habitat.

5PM Tour ends at the Hotel.

Day 4

A day in the beautiful Cape Winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Explore the second oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch and walk down the canal-lined avenues, in the shade of giant oak trees and beautifully preserved historic buildings, cafes, boutiques and art galleries. Simon van der Stel - the Governor of the Cape Colony at the time - established the town in 1679 and the remaining Cape Dutch architecture gives a sense of this Dutch colonial history.

Travel over the Helshoogte Pass to the town of Franschhoek, which was home to the French Huguenots in the 17th century. Billed as the gourmet capital of South Africa, this charming town, in the most picturesque valley, retains a strong French Huguenot style represented in the longstanding architecture and lifestyle.

Enjoy wine tasting at picturesque wine estates that will leave you wanting to come back for more.

Tour ends at the Hotel and check in.

The clear air and minimal artificial light found within this remote African wilderness make it an ideal stargazing location. During evening game drives, your field guide will point out planets and stars you’ve never seen before with the naked eye while telling you more about the constellations, taking you on a night sky safari.

Safari ends at the TreeHouse for dinner and overnight.

Treehouse offers a sprawling view of remote Africa, globed by even bigger star-lit skies. Below, the stillness is punctuated by animals’ whistles, huffs, and growls. It all began with Chalkley Treehouse, built on the site where our ancestor Guy Aubrey Chalkley once set up camp in a leadwood tree.

Day 9

Mid-morning collected for your overland transfer (about 3 hour drive) to:

Arrive at Saseka Tented Camp in time for lunch.

Enjoy your afternoon/evening game drive. From the Big 5 to giraffes, zebra, hippos, hyenas, wild dogs, antelope and hundreds of bird species, to name a few, the diversity of wildlife in this area is astounding. You’ll get close to them all with our expert guide-and-tracker teams, who have a deep understanding of the bush and an inherent knack for finding the action in our open-air safari vehicles.

Day 10

With a steady stream of the Big Five roaming freely under the vast skies of the Greater Kruger Park, guests are offerred consistent and thrilling sightings of these iconic animals on twice-daily game drives and guided bush walks.

A guided walking safari with your qualified guide is a completely different experience to a game drive in the greater Kruger Park as it not only gives you the thrill of being on foot in a Big Five Reserve but is a chance to really immerse yourself into nature at ground level.

Your qualified guides have been specifically trained for walking safaris so you’ll learn about tracking, discover our birdlife, insects, trees and plants and gain an understanding of the powerful eco-system in the Greater Kruger Park.

Cape Town
