Kwessi Dunes is a Sossusvlei safari camp located deep in Namibia’s striking NamibRand Nature Reserve, a vast desert wilderness of over 200,000 hectares. With its rolling desert plains and backdrop of craggy mountains and iconic red dunes, this is a place where time seems to stand still and the space is never-ending. Here, it’s not about chasing big game but rather soaking up the beauty of the colourful landscape, admiring the antelope that scatter the sand, and gazing at the stars that light up the night sky.

Enjoy a morning  Dolphin Cruise excursion - The ‘classic’ dolphin cruise, accompanied by dolphins, seals, pelicans, whales, fresh oysters, sparkling wine and much more. Once you reach the beautiful Skeleton coast of Namibia, you must experience the amazing riches of our Atlantic ocean, and also enjoy the friendly and fun cruise.  You will see an abundance of bird and mammal life, pelicans and seals up close and delight in the sea air, great food with fresh oysters and bubbles – all in a morning!.

Afternoon game viewing in the Ongava Reserve - The experienced guides are carefully selected, fully trained in first aid and firearms use, and ensuring safety at all times. With an intimate knowledge of the land and its wildlife, including 100 different mammal species found at Ongava, our guides share their understanding and love of the wild. Their passion for the wild is contagious, helping our guests to create a renewed sense of wonder and a wealth of unforgettable memories.

Ongava is one of the largest private game reserves in Namibia, with over 125 square miles to explore. Climb into an open
vehicle for game drives on Ongava and into neighbouring Etosha National Park to view the astonishing variety of life found in this spectacular environment. Lions, black and white rhinos, elephants, giraffe and several stunning species of antelope, including rare black-faced impala, are at home on the reserve.

Nature walks, photographic hides, lounging by the pool, or relaxing on your private deck are all wonderful ways to enjoy and reflect on your journey of a lifetime.

Etosha

The park is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhinoceros. The Etosha pan covers 23% of the total area of the National Park.

NamibRand - Sossusvlei

NamibRand and Sossusvlei are amazing desert destinations in Namibia. NamibRand is a private reserve with diverse landscapes, from dunes to mountains. You can hike, stargaze, and see wildlife. Sossusvlei is a salt and clay pan with huge sand dunes, up to 400 meters high. You can visit attractions like Dune 45, Big Daddy and Deadvlei, and enjoy the contrast of colours and shapes.

Established by German colonists in 1892, the city’s colonial landmarks include the Swakopmund Lighthouse and the Mole, an old sea wall. Next to the lighthouse, the Swakopmund Museum documents Namibian history. Inland, the elegant Swakopmund Railway Station, now a hotel, also dates to the colonial era.
